Did you know that Atlantis The Palm in Dubai is the 4th most Instagrammed hotel in the world? For a hotel lover like myself, it is always a pleasure to visit the most renowned hotel addresses and to experience the unique facilities and refined hospitality.
This was not my first time visiting the Atlantis The Palm, but it was my first to be invited for a private tour of the most exclusive accommodation, the Royal Bridge Suite and the Underwater Suite. Let me share with you my Instagram worthy experience.
The Royal Bridge Suite at the Atlantis The Palm
Access to the Royal Bridge Suite can only be granted through a private elevator. Set at 924 square meters the suite spans the arch of the impressive hotel building with captivating views from its two private terraces — of The Palm and the Arabian Sea.
The Suite which costs USD 40,000 per night, features three bedrooms which can sleep six adults and three children. The Master bedroom is designed with two separate bathrooms and walk-in closets, his and hers.
The Royal Bridge Suite is decorated in an elegant Arabic style blending in all the contemporary luxury.
The spacious lounge with high floor-to-ceiling windows opens up to two private terraces. The exquisite materials and carpeting used to decorate this luxury suite blend perfectly with the overall image of this grand accommodation.
The Royal Bridge Suite is one of the most expensive accommodations in the world and even Kim Kardashian was impressed when she stayed here in 2014.
At your service you will find a dedicated team of people from Butlers to Chefs who are ready to assist you 24/7. There is also a private library, games and media centre and a massage room.
The private dining room which is adjacent to the grand living room can sit 16 people. Even the chandelier is decorated with jellyfish to match the overall concept of this unique hotel.
Guests staying at the Royal Bridge Suite also receive:
- Two complimentary dolphin encounters
- A complimentary Private Cabana, available at the pool, by the beach, or in Aquaventure Waterpark
- Unlimited access to the underwater world of The Lost Chambers Aquarium, which you can get a glimpse of below
The Underwater Suite
There are only two suites available in this category, the Poseidon and Neptune Underwater Suites. I visited the Neptune Underwater Suite and believe me when I say I didn’t want to leave this underwater wonderland.
The suite is located on two levels. The bedroom with its floor to ceiling windows looks right into the Ambassador Lagoon. You can actually watch the sea creatures swim by you as you are relaxing in your bed or in your bathtub.
The serenity that you find yourself in, is difficult to describe. It is that kind of feeling when time stops, and you find yourself on a magical journey in this blue lagoon. A happy place indeed!
The Lost Chambers Aquarium
The Lost Chambers Aquarium is a wonderful place for children and adults alike where visitors can explore 10 various themed chambers of what was once the world’s most advanced civilisation.
There are over 21 exhibits with fish from all over the world which have found their home in this magical environment.
There are around 65,000 marine animals at the Atlantis which consume about 400 kilos of food on a daily basis. You may book to join one of the behind the scenes tours where you will be introduced to what it takes to care for these sea creatures.
I also got to meet the newest members to The Lost Chambers Aquarium family – the two very rare white skinned baby Albino Alligator brothers.
